The girls had a great time trick or treating.  They have been counted down the days until Halloween.  Alayna was Spidergirl and Maddie was Supergirl.  They have enough candy for them to have until next Halloween.  Here are some pictures of the two sweet Superheroes.

Celebrating Papa's Birthday

We were lucky to be able to celebrate Papa's birthday with him when he came for a visit.  The girls were so excited to make him a cake and help him blow out the candles.  It was a yummy cake, amde by two very sweet bakers!

Pumpkin Patch

When Grandma and Papa visited last weekend, we went on a hayride to a pumpkin patch.  It was a beautiful fall day.  The girls chose 4 pumpkins to bring home, and I think they loved the hayride the most.  We all had a great time!

First Day of School



The girls started school at the beginning of September.  Alayna started in a new class at preschool and Madelyn started kindergarten.  I CANNOT believe that she is in kindergarten.  She did not cry but mommy did.  Why do they have to grow up so fast?  Both girls had great first days at school!

Second Lost Tooth

And today our big girl lost her second tooth!

For the first post in a very long time, I thought I would add a picture of Maddie with her first lost tooth. She is getting SO big, I can't believe she is losing her teeth! And soon she will be losing her second tooth!

Twas the day before Christmas...

We have had a busy Christmas Eve. We cooked, made cookies, wrapped presents, went to see a Christmas lights show and got everything ready for Santa. Maddie has been counting down the days for a few weeks now, and both of the girls were beyond excited! Here are some pictures of our day.

Happy Halloween!

The girls had a great time trick or treating! Maddie and Alayna both went as fairies, 2 of Tinkbell's friends. Maddie was Rosetta and Alayna was Silvermist. It was a little chilly so they had to wear jackets and pants under their fairy costumes. Even though it was a cold outside, they absolutely loved going out and getting candy. I think Alayna's favorite part was handing out candy to the other kids, and eating her lollipop of course. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did on this Halloween!
