It's the Fredlake Family Reunion

We traveled to South Bend last week for the Fredlake family reunion. We had such a great time and really enjoyed seeing all of the aunts, uncles and cousins. Saturday was a beautiful day at the lake for the reunion. There was so much to do and see that I took way too many pictues. I had to put them all in a slideshow. Enjoy!

Coch Family Reunion

While in South Bend we went to the Coch family reunion on Sunday. Maddie and Alayna got to meet more of their cousins. We all had a great time visiting with everyone. We just wish we lived closer so we could see everyone more often.

Fun at Grandma, Papa and Mary's House

On our way to and from South Bend, we stopped over at Grandma, Papa and Mary's house in PA. The girls had a great time! Maddie played in the pool and she did lots of puzzles with Grandma. Alayna liked hanging out and all the extra attention. We all had a lot of fun with Grandma, Papa and Mary!

6 months old

Yep, it's true - Alayna turned 6 months old this week. We also had her 6 month doctor' appointment. She is almost 17 pounds and she is 26 inches long. Alayna is really outweighing Madelyn who was a little over 15 pounds at 6 months. Alayna is a sweet baby and so full of energy. She loves Maddie and smiles every time her big sister gets near her. I can't believe in 6 more months, she will be 1 year old. Time is just moving too fast for mommy! Here are some pictures of the 6 month old...

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Visitors

Amma, Papa, and Mary came to visit last week. The girls had a great time with them. Maddie always loves extra playmates. Amma and Maddie spent a lot of time outside going for walks, blowing bubbles and playing at the playground. Papa gave Maddie lots of pillow rides and horsey rides. Alayna got a lot of extra snuggles from Amma, Papa and Mary. We all had a great time!

Alayna had cereal for the first time last week. She really liked it and is doing better each day with getting more in her mouth than out :-)

Visiting Lynchburg

The girls and I spent last week visiting my parents in Lynchburg. Jon had a conference neaby and came to meet us for the weekend. Maddie and Alayna had so much fun! Maddie loved playing outside in the big yard (our townhouse has no yard unfortunately). The girls really enjoyed being spoiled by mama and papa. Mommy really enjoyed the extra hands to help with the girls. Here are some things the girls did while we were there.

From back to stomach

Alayna started rolling from her back to her stomach a couple of weeks ago (I have been delayed posting). My favorite part of the video is after she rolls over and you can see her "old man" haircut!

Two and a half - already?

Yep, Maddie turned 2 1/2 years old yesterday. She is such a sweet little girl with quite a personality. Maddie is still somewhat shy until she gets to know the people around her. She still LOVES to dance and sing, I think we should start dance class soon. She is just the best big sister to Alayna - Jon and I tell her all the time what a great sister she is. There are so many things that I could say about Maddie but it would just be too long. We are so fortunate to have Maddie in our lives!
