Happy Halloween!

The girls had a great time trick or treating! Maddie and Alayna both went as fairies, 2 of Tinkbell's friends. Maddie was Rosetta and Alayna was Silvermist. It was a little chilly so they had to wear jackets and pants under their fairy costumes. Even though it was a cold outside, they absolutely loved going out and getting candy. I think Alayna's favorite part was handing out candy to the other kids, and eating her lollipop of course. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did on this Halloween!

Yes, it's true this is our first family photo with just the four of us. Well at least I think it is the first one we have taken, I can't find another one. Better late than never, right?

First Day of "School"

Maddie and Alayna started a new school today. They were both very excited this morning. Maddie has been a little nervous so we were thrilled that she couldn't wait to get there this morning. Both of them did well on the first day and really like their new school!

Spray Park

We went to a spray park this weekend because we had 2 birthday parties at the same place and the same time. It worked out very nicely. The girls had a lot of fun. Alayna was a little unsure but we found a place that the water wasn't coming up too high. Maddie surprised us by going in and getting completed soaked. We will definitely be going back this summer!

Visitors

Grandma, Papa and Aunt Mary came to visit last weekend. The girls had so much fun playing and being entertained by someone other than me and Jon. It was great to see them!

Alayna's 2nd Birthday

Alayna turned 2 this weekend! The past 2 years have just gone by so fast. We had a lot of fun celebrating. Mama, Papa, Auntie Cheryl, Alex, Andrew and Christopher all came to visit and help us celebrate. Alayna got a lot of nice gifts. She REALLY enjoyed her cupcake too!
Alayna is such a sweet 2 year old and she keeps us on our toes. Her personality is different than her older sister's. She is a dare devil for sure. Alayna loves playing with Maddie and copies everything her big sister does. It's so great to watch them together! Alayna says a lot of different things now and is adding more to her vocabulary everyday. She definitely knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say it! We are trying to develop her into a better eater, so far not much success. The girl could eat oatmeal all day long if we would let her. Alayna loves to dance, play with babies and strollers and watch Dora. She has a slight Dora obsession!
We love getting hugs and kisses from baby Alayna (yes I will call her that for a long time. She is just such a blessing. Happy Birthday Alayna, we love you so much!

Totally Missed December

So since I missed posting pictures in December, I thought that I would start from the beginning for Maddie's birthday. Maddie is one lucky girl because she gets 2 birthday parties every year. One at Grandma and Papa Coch's during Thanksgiving and one here at home. I still CANNOT believe that she turned 4. The time has just gone by so fast and we have been so blessed everyday of the last 4 years.
Maddie is such a sweet and thoughtful little girl. She is the most loving sister. I really cannot say enough about what a beautiful little girl she is, inside and out.

Halloween 2010

Since I haven't been posting pictures on a regular basis, I thought it would be OK if I posted 14 pictures together. The girls had so much fun trick or treating. Alayna was a trooper and was carrying her little pumpkin even as it dragged on the ground. Maddie has been so excited for weeks to dress up and go trick or treating. She is loving all the candy. It was hard trying to get pictures of the girls both looking at the camera, but I did get a few good ones! Happy Halloween everyone!
