15 months old

I am almost 2 weeks late in posting, but I wanted to share some pictures of our 15 month old. I just cannot believe how fast the time has gone by. It really seems like yesterday that we were bringing Alayna home from the hospital. She is still such a sweet little girl. And even though she is 15 months old, Alayna is still our baby! Here is an update on Alayna...

*she LOVES her big sister and wants to do everything Maddie does
*she can be a "bulley" - she takes charge
*she loves baths
*she is a dada's girl (she calls me dada too)
*she likes playing with babies and giving them hugs and kisses
*she has a slight obsession with Elmo (Elmo is a very clear word she says)
*she is starting to say more things and its pretty clear too
*she likes to play outside
*she does try new foods but still doesn't really eat fruits and vegetables
*she loves books
*she is just so lovable and sweet!

It's Spring time!

The weather has been beautiful. So we have been heading to the playground with the girls and playing outside. This year Alayna gets to join in on the fun! She LOVES going down the slide and is definitely not afraid to go down by herself. Maddie enjoys the swings and slides. She is learning how to swing all by herself. The girls have so much fun there together. Here are some pictures from one of our many trips to the playground and playing outside.

Happy Easter

We all had a great Easter! This year my parents came to visit. The girls had so much fun and were definitely spoiled with presents. Maddie really liked hunting for eggs. Alayna enjoyed it but went off to something else pretty quickly. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful Easter with family!

Big Girl Bed (finally)

Maddie is finally in her big girl bed. We have been waiting because she didn't climb out of her crib so we figured we would wait until she did. Well that hadn't happened and since she is almost 3 and a half, we thought it was time. She wasn't so sure about it at first but she did fantastic! She really loves her new princess bedding. It does break mommy's heart as she is really now a big girl and is growing up way too fast for me. And of course, I cried as I took her bedding out of her crib and took her crib apart. But we are just so happy that she likes her bed and has decided to stay in it (for now)!

Two sweeties!

Totally random pictures of our two sweet girls. I wanted to get a photo of Alayna in this cute little outfit. Since it is getting warmer, she won't be wearing it much longer. But Alayna wasn't really cooperating with me and the camera so these are the best shots that I could get.

I have not been very good at adding pictures (sorry Grandma!). But here are a few that I took recently. It is so hard to get pictures of Alayna. She doesn't stay still long enough and she just wants to grab the camera. I decided to take some pictures to show Alayna's and Maddie's crazy hair. Both of them have very "interesting" hair styles these days!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I couldn't get a picture of them both together, but these are pictures of the girls in there Valentine's Day shirts. Maddie had to eat an apple in her pciture - what can I say, she's 3. We hope everyone had a very Happy Valentine's Day and got to spend it with the ones you love.

Hazards of being a walker

Little Alayna started walking a few days before her 1st birthday. She is still getting the hang of it though. Last weekend she fell and bumped her face on the table - OUCH! If you look closely, you can see the bruise right by her moth on her left cheek. These are some pictures to show her first injury as a new walker.

Alayna's Baptism

Alayna's baptism was January 10th. Yes, I am a little late with my posting. It was a beautiful day and we were so blessed to have our family here to join in Alayna's special day.
